Gainesville, Florida based Harvest of Hope Foundation in collaboration with Denver band Only Thunder & Hackl Guitar is proud to announce that we will be holding a fundraising benefit concert Saturday, August 22nd at the 3 Kings Tavern at 60 South Broadway, Denver, Colorado.
The fundraising concert will benefit the Harvest of Hope Foundation in its unique work providing emergency and educational financial aid to migrant farmworkers and families across the country. Proceeds from this benefit will go towards the Bernie Martinez Colorado Migrant Emergency Fund that provide financial assistance to migrant farmworking families in dire need in Colorado.

Chili-of-Hope: Vegan Chili Contest & Fundraiser

Join the Harvest of Hope Foundation as we invite you to take part in the in the first Harvest of Hope Foundation "Vegan" Chili Cook-off on August 8, 2009 between 1pm and 8pm at The Kickstand (722 S. Main Street, Gainesville, Florida). And if that's not enough, we will also have local arts and crafts; ice cream and acoustic music. Come watch as participants compete and vie to become Gainesville's top vegan chili chef and enjoy an evening at the Kickdstand. Best of all, help raise thousands of dollars for Gainesville's own Harvest of Hope Foundation.

Gainesville, Florida based Harvest of Hope Foundation in collaboration with the Mike Bernos Trio and Café Karibu are proud to announce that they will be holding a fundraising benefit concert Saturday, August 1st at the Café Karibu located at 27 North 3rd Street, Amelia Island, Florida. The Mike Bernos Trio (including guitarist Rich Guarino and cellist Betsy Feder) will be performing acoustic selections from their upcoming CD “With These Hands” featuring two beautiful songs about migrant farmworkers. In addition too, Café Karibu has also graciously agreed to donate ½ of profits earned from the sale of their own Pub-brewed Beer and Homemade Sangria to help support the Harvest of Hope Foundation.

Join the Harvest of Hope Foundation as we host a hip-hop fundraising concert on Saturday, July 11th at 1982 Bar, located at 919 W. University Ave., Gainesville, Florida. We are excited to announce that this fundraiser will feature live performances by: DJ Mr. Rogers; Swamp Boy Slim; Godamus Rhyme of Orlando, Blue Chips and DP from Gainesville. 2009 Harvest of Hope Fest, St. Augustine Fairgrounds, St. Augustine, FL

The first annual Harvest of Hope Fest, will be held at the St. Johns County Fairgrounds in St. Augustine, Florida. This three day, multiple stage alternative music festival all to benefit and raise awareness for Harvest of Hope Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides financial, educational, and service oriented aid to migrant farm workers all over the country. The event emphasizes the focus on being family friendly as well as environmentally friendly. showcase not only a large group of musicians who are donating their time and performances to the cause but will also showcase a variety of art shows and films from progressive artists from around the country, non-profits, local businesses and progressive organizations.
The event will feature over 100 bands that include acts such as Against Me!, The National, Propagandhi, KRS One, The Mountain Goats, GZA(GENIUS),
Bad Brains,Girl Talk,The Bouncing Souls, Less Than Jake, Lucero, The Gaslight Anthem Kool Keith (Dr. Octagon vs Dr. Doom)ft. Kutmasta Kurt, The Night Marchers, Black Kids and many more.
The Harvest of Hope Foundation in partnership with indie rock band, Against Me!, will be holding a live acoustic concert to raise funds for a bone marrow transplant for seven-year old Diane Olalde of Tifton, Georgia.
