Lidia Mondragon
Scholarship Fund

On behalf of the Harvest of Hope Foundation I am very honored to establish the Lidia Mondragon Scholarship Fund.

Lidia is very special person. Her parents came to the United States 10 years ago to work on an avocado farm in California.  They then moved to Arkansas where her parents did grueling work for many years at a chicken processing plant.  Lidia has dreams to become a pediatrician because growing up she saw many Hispanic children in her community denied the opportunity of medical help due to their immigration status.

Unfortunately, Lidia will not eligible for federal or state financial aid for college and may be forced to pay out of state tuition.  That is why the Harvest of Hope Foundation will house the Lidia Mondragon Scholarship Fund in order to raise funds for Lidia’s college education.  Donations may be made to the Harvest of Hope Foundation but earmarked for the Lidia Mondragon Fund.   Since the foundation is a tax-exempt non-profit organization, donations are tax-deductible according to guidelines by the IRS.  Donations may be sent to:
